RANGERS U18s were back on top of their league for just a couple of hours after putting eight past struggling Vale Rec at KGV on Sunday.
Zac Batiste (four) and George Goubert (three) led the rout and Charlie Le Prevost grabbed the other in a game which saw the home side register four goals in each half.
Batiste’s fourth goal was a rare header on his part, with a good climb and strong contact from Pearce Le Poidevin’s right wing corner.
The win put us top until Sylvans beat Rovers 5-1 in the later kick off to push back ahead by a single point.
